AQUI ESTOY!!

Hola a todos! (Hey everybody)

I am finally here in Argentina. The past few days have been great. I arrived safely, including all of my luggage. Thank you for all of your prayers and encouraging e-mails. These past few days I've been getting to know the city. The Fulfer's have been taking care of me...showing me around, making sure I get fed, introducing me to people. I'm so excited to see what the Lord is going to do during this year.
I can already tell that I'm going to love the city life. Cordoba is a wonderful city, it's big, but not too big. There are also a couple of parks around, which will make it very easy to kick back and relax on days when I feel like getting out of the city.
Lord willing, this blog will be mainly full of pictures for you guys to see. I will be continuing my newsletter e-mails, but this blog will provide you with an opportunity to see what I am seeing and love what I am loving.
Thank you for all of your prayers, support, e-mails, and encouragement. I have felt it all during my huge transition, and I am very thankful to God for you.

FINALLY!!

Wow, who can actually believe that the time has come for me to leave? It's been about a year and a half of waiting, support raising, and waiting again... But the Lord has been very gracious during this time. The time waiting was not in vain, certainly. I had the opportunity to work with the kids at Siloam, participate as a coach in Upward Basketball, minister with the youth, and work at the YMCA, sharing the love of Christ with my co-workers. Also, my twin brother, David, got married this past December. It was such a blessing to be a part of that wedding and get to experience everything first hand. I have also been very encouraged in my decision to go to Cordoba, knowing that even after almost 2 years I am STILL in love with that place and those people. God has been faithful to keep me faithful to my commitment to go, and I am very thankful to Him.
Right now, we are finalizing my ticket. I will be leaving February 2nd out of Charlotte. Please pray for my flight, preparations, packing, and for my family and friends as I leave. Pray also for the ministry that the Lord has waiting there in Argentina. Pray for the young women and children that I will be serving and teaching. Thank you so much for your support and your love for the Lord.

For His Name's Sake,
Jaclyn
